black friday fun

Teams  consist of a cheap car, truck, suv or van or whatever vehicle your imagination can come up with and a driver, and a navigator, with the objective to hit daily GPS navigational check in waypoints. It is a FULL DAY of fun event with prizes at the end !   

There will be Awards given out for the following 

1. Most Creative Vehicle 
2. Vehicle with most stickers or decals / decorations 
3. Team with most unique / funny waypoint check in photos posted .
4. Team that brings back the most litter they find along the way 
5. Team that has the most passengers 
6. Most highly Modified vehicle 
7. Team with the smallest rig 
8. Team with the largest rig 
9. Team with the most unique non convertible-turned into chopped convertible 
10. Team that shares the most

Main event rules 

1. No alcohol or drinking and driving 
2. All vehicles have to have working headlights, turn signals , horn and brake lights 
3. All vehicles must have a valid- non expired license plate on them ( dealer plates ok) and must have liability insurance. 
4. All drivers MUST have a valid drivers license 
5. All vehicles will pay $50.00 total entry fee no matter how many passengers they have 
6. All vehicles will be assigned a number at registration check in and also given a poker chip with that number on it.   When they return to the end of the event they turn in their poker chips in which when all chips are turned in we will draw for 3 cash prizes !    ……….        $250 for 1st  chip drawn           $500 for 2nd chip drawn.                $750 for 3rd chip drawn.   
7. It’s not a first to finish type of event ....it’s everybody finish and everyone has a shot at the #1 prize money spot!! 
8. All drivers are expected to have fun and conduct great sportsmanship at all times 

Question: Does my entry vehicle need to be bought for $500.00 in able to participate? 

Answer :   No its not strictly enforced just a recommendation that we want 

this to continue to be a fun event with low budget beaters !! 

Question : When and where is this event taking place ? 

Answer  : This is a annual event every Black Friday starting Friday November 28th at the Duquoin

State fairgrounds - Duquoin ,Illinois 62832   @8 am Sharp 

Question : Can more then one person be the driver ?

Answer  : Yes anyone registered on your team can be the driver or navigator 

Question :  How much does it cost to Enter the event ?

Answer :  Registration is $50.00 total per vehicle no matter how many passengers 

If  you register before the end of September 2025 Pre registration will save you $ 10.00  for a total of $40.00
